From the Manager's Desk...
WOW, our Annual Property Wide Yard Sale and Open House was a hit! Thank you to all 26 residents who participated in the sales. One request will be granted next year, we will definitely have it sooner in the year when the heat and humidity is not over 100 degrees. It was a hot day! We gave out over 2 cases of bottled water.
Now it’s August and we all know what that means; “Back to School.” Already? This summer has gone by so fast; I can’t believe it’s time for the school bell to start ringing. Academics are very important and all of us here at The Bluffs and we want our student residents to start school prepared and ready to learn. All students are welcome to stop by our office to pick up FREE school supplies between August 1st and August 13th. While you’re here sign up to win a FREE back pack full of school supplies. The lucky winner will be notified on the 10th.
Don’t forget that all residents who pay rent on or before the 1st get automatically entered into a drawing to win $75.00 off their next months rent. We draw two residents every month.
If you have any requests, ideas or suggestions for monthly activities and drawings we would love to know them. Stop by or give us a call.

Help! My garbage disposal has suddenly stopped working!
What do I do?
Your garbage disposal comes with a safety switch that may have tripped. Reach under the disposal and press the red button to reset the disposal. This may have happened because of an obstruction. With the unit off, reach into the disposal to see if you can remove any objects. You can also run ice through the disposal to force stuck food out.

Tomato Feta Salad
Ingredients
4 pints grape tomatoes, red or mixed colors
1 1/2 cups small-diced red onion (2 onions)
1/4 cup good white wine vinegar
6 tablespoons good olive oil
1 tablespoon kosher salt
1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
1/4 cup chopped fresh basil leaves
1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley leaves
1 1/2 pounds feta cheese
Directions
Cut the tomatoes in half and place them in a large bowl. Add the onion, vinegar, olive oil, salt, pepper, basil, and parsley and toss well. Dice the feta in 1/2 to 3/4-inch cubes, crumbling it as little as possible. Gently fold it into the salad and serve at room temperature.
